The Armed Forces of Ukraine targeted several Russian military facilities in overnight operations on September 30, including sites supporting unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operations.

In the occupied Donetsk region, Ukrainian forces targeted a warehouse reportedly used to store, prepare, and launch attack drones.

A drone command post in Pokrovsk was also hit, along with a rocket and artillery weapons depot in Luhansk.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the coordinated attacks led to the “total destruction” of the Russian military facilities.

“Striking such sites is one of the priorities of the Defence Forces of Ukraine and is aimed at reducing the Russian occupiers’ ability to use attack UAVs against civilian infrastructure in Ukraine,” he said

“Operations against key military targets of the Russian occupiers are ongoing. To be continued!”

The Ongoing Russo-Ukrainian War

Ukraine has stepped up operations against Russian military sites in recent weeks, including its largest reported drone attack, involving 1,900 unmanned aerial vehicles.

Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said more than 450 Ukrainian drones were headed toward the Russian capital, where one attack reportedly damaged a major oil refinery.

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also reported separate operations in the Black Sea region targeting Russian airfields, industrial facilities, and a missile and space center.

“We are giving justified responses to Russia’s escalation with our own long-range sanctions. Important results are achieved practically every day,” Zelensky said on social media.
