ST Engineering is expanding the deployment of its counter-unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS) beyond Singapore, with growing demand from neighboring Asian countries for its operationally proven drone defense technology.

The expansion follows a series of deployments secured by the company’s Digital Systems business in recent months for both defense and critical infrastructure protection missions.

According to ST Engineering, the regional interest reflects the flexibility and maturity of its counter-drone systems across a range of operational roles, including air defense and fixed-site protection.

“Counter-drone capabilities have become an increasingly important part of modern defense and security operations,” said Low Jin Phang, chief operating officer for Defence & Public Security, and president for Digital Systems at ST Engineering.

“These deployments underscore the growing demand for integrated solutions against evolving drone threats and validate our ability to deliver operationally proven counter-drone capabilities.”

A Modular Shield Against Drones

ST Engineering’s counter-drone capabilities combine advanced sensors, AI-powered command and control, and a range of soft- and hard-kill effectors to detect, identify, track, and engage drone threats.

Built on a modular architecture, they can be tailored for a range of missions, including air defense, public security, and critical infrastructure protection.

According to the company, the portfolio draws on its expertise in advanced sensors, artificial intelligence, and mission systems to deliver integrated protection against a broad spectrum of drone threats.
